SUMMIT PROOF! MOBILITY PLUS OVERVIEW:
Proof! is a combination of desktop, mobile, and web app for Proof of Service notifications and Inventory Management.
A barcode tag is secured on equipment inventory and technician vehicles (or somewhere at a fixed-location job site, such as the side of a restaurant sink). By scanning the barcode (via smart phone or tablet -- iPhone and iPad coming soon!), you can track job sites, current driver locations, service completion, and inventory movements.
Proof! can be used as a stand-alone product. Therefore, there is no need to change your existing software. And since your technicians already have smart phones, there are no special barcode readers to buy. Proof! software apps and barcode tags are the only additional expenses.
THERE ARE FIVE COMPONENTS TO PROOF! MOBILITY PLUS
Desktop (Office) app - The core of the system
- Set up information related to customers, job sites, contact info, email addresses, text and voice numbers, warehouse and inventory information, technicians, supervisors, vehicles, and mobile devices.
- Reports based upon scans done in the field and history of activities
- Inventory availability and multi-company, multi-warehouse inventory management
Technician app - The data capturing component
- A technician scans units as they are delivered, picked up, and serviced, or to notify of reasons service could not be performed.
- Data is sent to email and text manager (described below) automatically, and then to the customers and job contacts, as requested, according to customer preferences.
- This prevents the mobile app from getting bogged down managing communications, which are off-loaded to the desktop app, reducing data plan and other service fees.
Supervisor app - Same capabilities as the Technician app plus additional features to manage the business operations in whole
- Inventory management.
- Inventory assignment to job sites and de-assignment when done.
- Track units in transit ("cradle to grave").
- Effortless yard/warehouse inventory count.
- Map view of all inventory locations.
- Map view of jobs and current truck locations
- Determine who the customer is, who and what truck is the closest to it, etc., and make prompt and appropriate changes/decisions.
- Service and delivery history of inventory usage throughout its life.
Email/Text manager - To automatically send customers their Proof!
- It senses any new scans that come from the Technician and Supervisor apps and automatically sends emails and texts to either the customer contact, the job site contact, or both.
- When a technician is out in the field, when completed or unable to service a site, he/she can select the type of message (Delivery, Pickup, Service, Not Serviced, etc.), the specific title (Gate Locked, etc.), and Send.
- Message titles and wording are customizable from the desktop app but come pre-loaded with examples.
- Fortunately, there is no typing required in the field! This avoids embarrassing typos and unintended wording. Technicians simply select the message type, title, and Send. Proof! handles the message management from there.
Customer web portal - To view their own Proof! and history
- The customer (or job supervisors) may log in, view and print their own history...i.e., their own Proof!
- When the supervisor logs in, he/she only sees the jobs he/she is associated with.
- When the customer logs in, they choose which job they would like to view, and then view the complete history for that job.

Regarding Barcode Tags:
Barcode tags are not included with the software, but may be purchased separately.
Barcode tags must be rigid, durable, compatible to your work environment, and resistant to chemicals, abrasion, solvents, extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), UV, and outdoor exposure. We recommend metalic barcode tags of at least .020" thickness that comply with these requirements. In addition, there are various bar "code" types. Type 39 is what works best with Summit Proof!

To take advantage of these options, users would need to have accounts, such as email, with their chosen vendor in order to use that feature.
